The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)  --  is the scientific body created by
the United Nations to review and assess scientific work on climate change and to advise
governments, as well as the public, about this subject.  Here are a few specific topics within
the IPCC web site.

Fourth Assessment (2007) Report Contents
  Summary for Policymakers (2007)
  The Scientific Basis
  News and Events

The RealClimate Web Site --- consists of many articles written (mostly) for a general
audience by climate researchers covering specific subtopics within the general subject of
climate change.  Generally the articles are followed by long discussions in blog format by
scientists and others in which they both amplify and question the contents of the articles.  If
you are confused by specific climate change topics, this is a good site.

A starting point within the RealClimate site with links, FAQs and more

Here is the Index of Topics in the RealClimate site.

BLOGS

These blogs tend to mix the political with the technical.  Of course, politics and science have
been mixed and are being mixed more and more as the political debate about what to do
about global warming -- er -- heats up.  Keep track of the debate on the following:

Climate Progress
ClimateScienceWatch
Deep Climate
Deltoid  (Although this one takes up many other topics as well)
