| In western Colorado, Glenwood Canyon leads to the town of Glenwood Springs from the east. This is Shoshone Dam on the Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon as it appeared in the early 1970's. There has been a lot of construction there since then as Interstate 70 was pushed through the canyon. Look here to see what the river looked like just below the dam. |
